Biology Plans for the week:

Monday: Introduction to Photosynthesis journal notes; Why Do Leaves Change Color in the Fall? google slides assignment

Tuesday: Save Rosie Virtual Lab

Wednesday: Creepy Animal mini-project

Thursday: Creepy Animal mini-project (Happy Halloween)

Friday: Photosynthesis and Respiration comparison chart in journal; Work on Review Sheet (test is on Tuesday)

 

Honors Biology Plans for the week:

Monday: Photosynthesis notes in journal; Stomata Viewing Lab

Tuesday: Photosynthesis and Respiration comparison chart in journal; Are Forests Carbon Sources or Carbon Sinks? project (project is due Monday)

Wednesday: Work on project

Thursday: Bloody Chlorophyll Lab

Friday: Work on project (some may already be done, but band members will need this time!)

HW: Project is due Monday!

Here is what we have going on for this short week of school!

Biology Lesson Plans:

Monday: Cell and Cell Transport dominoes and card sort to review; Work on Gimkit

HW: Gimkit for extra credit and study for our 9 weeks test

Tuesday: First 9 weeks test (benchmark to prepare for our EOC)

Wednesday: 9 weeks test corrections

No school on Thursday and Friday!

I can’t believe it’s the last week of the 9 weeks already! This Friday is the last day, and next week we will begin our 2nd 9 week grading period.

Biology Plans for the week

Monday: Osmosis notes in journal; Set up Veggie Osmosis Lab

Tuesday: Osmosis real life application video clips; Look at the Lab Results of the Osmosis Lab

Wednesday: Active Transport discussion and concept map in journal; Quizizz live lesson with practice questions

Thursday: Cell Transport foldable

Friday: 9 weeks review sheet (we will have a benchmark test over the first 9 weeks information next week on Tuesday)

 

Honors Plans for the week

Monday: Osmosis notes in journal; Set up Veggie Osmosis Lab

Tuesday: Fish Osmosis video clip; Look at the Lab results of the Osmosis Lab

Wednesday: Active transport discussion and concept map in journal; Cell Transport Drag and Drop assignment (due Friday)

Thursday: Cell Transport live quizizz lesson with practice questions; Work on Drag and Drop assignment (homework if it’s not done by the end of class)

Friday: Cell Transport Digital Escape room; 9 weeks review sheet (we will have a benchmark test over the first 9 weeks information next week on Tuesday)
