Biology Lesson Plans for this week:

Monday: Quizizz lesson over the first 10 questions from our practice STAAR test; Plant and Body systems review Super Mario activity

Tuesday: #11-20 Quizizz from our practice STAAR test; Intro to Ecology and Symbiosis notes

Wednesday: Symbiosis activity online (UIL Academic District competition day at Sabine)

Thursday: During 1st – 3rd period we will have a practice Algebra STAAR test; in class we will learn about food chains and food webs and do an assignment about them (3rd period will do this on Friday)

Friday: Nutrient Cycles discussion and domino activity

 

Honors Lesson Plans for this week:

Monday: Quizizz lesson over the first 10 questions from our practice STAAR test; Plant and Body Systems paper escape room

Tuesday: #11-20 Quizizz from our practice STAAR test; Intro to Ecology and Symbiosis notes

Wednesday: Symbiosis activity online (with extra video portion) – (UIL Academic District competition day at Sabine)

Thursday: During 1st – 3rd period we will have a practice Algebra STAAR test; in class we will learn about food chains and food webs and create a food web

Friday: Nutrient Cycles discussion and domino activity

Biology Plans:

Monday: Plant journal entries and review what we learned last week about plants

HW: Charge your computer for our STAAR Interim Practice test!

Tuesday: STAAR Interim practice test (everyone must have their school chromebook charged, we will be testing during 1st – 3rd period); Plant Adaptation and Tropisms

Wednesday: Body System matching activity and fill out the chart with a partner

Thursday: Complete the chart if needed; Body systems practice assignment

Friday: Feedback inhibition discussion and assignment

 

Honors Biology Plans:

Monday: Plant journal entries and review what we learned last week about plants

HW: Charge your computer for our STAAR Interim Practice test, and 1st period: Complete pages 9-10 of your journal

Tuesday: STAAR Interim practice test (everyone must have their school chromebook charged, we will be testing during 1st-3rd period); Plant Adaptation and Tropisms

Wednesday: Body system matching activity and fill out the chart with a partner

HW: Complete the charts using the google slides if you don’t finish in class

Thursday: Feedback inhibition discussion and assignment in journal

HW: Complete the Body systems practice assignment on google classroom

Friday: Plant and Body System practice STAAR questions
