Monday: Respiration and Photosynthesis Test (band students can make up the test Friday during class or before school on Friday)

Tuesday-Wednesday: Creepy Critters Project

Thursday: Bloody Chlorophyll Lab

Friday: Intro to the Cell Cycle and Vocab (band students can make up the test today)

Band students: Creepy Critters project is due Monday

 

Honors Biology Lesson Plans:

Monday – Wednesday: Work on Carbon Cycle Project

Thursday: Bloody Chlorophyll Lab

Friday: (Carbon Cycle project due for band students) Intro to the cell cycle and pages 12-13 in your journal

Biology Lesson Plans:

Monday: Complete the lab from Friday, Fermentation notes in journal and Cellular Respiration Guided Reading

Tuesday: Intro to Photosynthesis; Why Do Leaves Change Color in the Fall? inquiry google slides assignment

Wednesday: Photosynthesis notes in journal; Stomata Lab (with the microscopes)

Thursday: Save Rosie Virtual Lab

Friday: Photosynthesis and Respiration Review (Test on Monday — I may move this back a day if band will not be gone)

 

Honors Lesson Plans:

Monday: Complete the lab from Friday; Fermentation notes; The Pulmonary Pea article and questions

Tuesday: Intro to Photosynthesis and Why Do Leaves Change Color in the Fall? inquiry google slides assignment

Wednesday: Photosynthesis notes in journal; Stomata Lab

Thursday: Begin project “Carbon Source or Carbon Sink?”

Friday: Continue with our project

 

Last week we did the following things:

Tuesday (10/14): Completed the Halloween activity from the Friday before; ATP notes using presentation in our new journal

Wednesday:  Quiz on Wayground using our ATP notes; Comparing Respiration and Photosynthesis journal entry and google slides assignment

Thursday: Google Slides assignment due; Tylenol Murders Case Study (on Cellular Respirationn)

Friday: ATP and Muscle Fatigue Lab

Biology Plans for this week:

Tuesday: Cell Transport concept map in journal and the 9 weeks test review

Wednesday: 9 weeks test review and Gimkit review game

HW: Study for our 9 weeks test and make sure your journal is ready to turn in

Thursday: 9 weeks test (this test grade can replace a lower test grade!) and turn in journals

Friday: ATP assignment

 

Honors Biology Plans for this week:

Tuesday: Active transport discussion and concept in journal; Cell Transport digital escape room

Wednesday: 9 weeks test review sheet

HW: Study for our 9 weeks test and make sure your journals are ready to turn in

Thursday: Turn in your journal and take the 9 weeks test

Friday: ATP assignment
